As water is the source of all physical life, so is the One infinite power the source of all things. It flows through all and around all forms like a river leading down to the ocean. And that bright, infinite sea is what all mankind, deep down, long for most deeply; all mans desires, wishes, longings are actually expressions of this deep yearning of the soul for oneness with the creator.
All men have to do is to plunge into that river of the soul and let it take them to the source. But unfortunately, there are not that many who have the courage or the inclination to do it. Courage because it means looking at who he/she truly is, what his many faults, weaknesses are, what hurts and sufferings he has caused to others; and inclination because a major part of mankind is still inclined to the glamours and delusions of materialism.
Who has not known of power hungry businessmen or conglomerates who amass vast fortunes far in excess of their needs while hundreds of thousands starve to death or accrue all the other sufferings of extreme poverty.
The ways of bringing hideous wrongs into this world are themselves almost infinite./ And so the generations and ages go on, as the river flows on, and man still tries to stand against it and to direct that flow for his own personal requirements far, far in excess of his needs and is dismayed and filled with horror when it finally sucks him down and drowns him. Such is always the case because he is unaware of how life must be evenly balanced, and that the cosmic laws of Karma cannot be avoided, transgressed or mocked with impunity.
