Over the past fifteen there has been a massive decline in church demonstrations.. I do not call it mediumship,it is either psychicism or just plain cold reading. There is another we're Pell initiate responses from the recipient. John Edward does ask questions and makes it fit when responses come.

There are platform "mediums" give out personal information thus embarrassing the recipient. These kind of "mediums" can also be dangerous stating. things that might. be entirely wrong. WHen the demonstrator makes jokes to cover up his mistakes blaming Spirit. for the lack of accurate evidence. then that is the last straw. We. have tutors claiming to teach the Gift,not in a month of Sundays! No one can teach Mediumship. ,It can only be developed. The atmosphere of. Churches using wannabe Mediums are flat and the energy is as thick as treacle it very hard to work in. The recipients should be treated. with respect they are. not. I have seen them force info even when the person. has said no, the"Medium" states they believe Spirit before they would believe the recipient. If this is not taken into hand we will be an even worse laughing stock than we are now with detractors.

I disagree completely, you have to be able to communicate with Spirit before Platform work. Presentation takes care of itself if you are honest in your spirit work,Sometimes I think presentation is the problem we spend too much trying to perfect in our delivery we forget we connecting loved ones with those who are here.
.we can develop. Mediums not train ,it is an acute awareness of Spirit..

Hi Ann. Its all about training. Some people think you can become a medium over night, you cant. Platform presentation is essential for a succesful dem. If the message is not taken its the fault of the medium, maybe they didnt hear it right, or misunderstood what was said. Spirit are always right. I agree its not the recipients fault at all. Church dems are the platform for the majority of mediums, if their no good their not booked again. Ive been involved with Spiritualism for 35 years now and am a practicing Medium. We have to have a positive outlook, theres more good Mediums than bad ones. All sowing the seeds of truth to the enquirering mind. Take what you can, reject what you cant, its as simple as that.
