The spirit world are tired very tired of the so-called "Mediumship" or what passes for it in many churches. it is unbelivable that the standards have dropped so much that those who travel to churches to gain comfort are getting substandard communication from presenters who talk about "Furniture", redecoration of houses as if this communication from the Spirit world.

The audiences seem to lose their faculties of reason when they enter a spiritualist church or centre, they seem to be in thrall of the atomosphere insteadof using commonsense in regards to communication as to the content of messages which maybe less than accurate. They neither answer in the negative but except anything that comes from a "Medium" as if it was the gospel truth. Mediumship is a rare and precious gift but it has become a laughing stock outside the movement of Spiritualism We need a champion for the Spirit world so they can bring comfort to those that are in need. Derision at the moment is only comment about the gift we must give out evidence alongside those who are studying this phenomenon such as RUpert sheldrake gary schwartz and Dr Oliviera of South America.

I can understand Ann's frustration at the wide variation of quality of work experienced in Spiritualist churches and other centres. When my wife and I ran Spiritworks in Essex for seven and a half years we were always careful about the motivation and delivery by guest mediums. Some we did not re-book because their work fell below a standard that we felt was appropriate to offer our audience. Our task was to bring truth and awareness to the public, not to put on some kind of magic show. It is always about motive and integrity. Now we are retired I have launched www.happinessroad.co.uk to offer spiritual awareness guidance based upon more than twenty years of experience. I worked as a demonstrating medium myself and retired once my health prevented me from doing the job properly.
