I enjoyed your article and agree that in a rapidly changing world it is time for folks to wake up. I don't believe that mankind all together en-masse will ascend at some time in the near or far future because ascension or enlightenment as it used to be named is only achieved by an individual seeker's efforts to unload baggage to gain harmony and balance in every thought and deed and this can only be achieved at the individual seeker's learning speed. No one, ascended master, guru, or even our Creator could or would intrude on the individual's freewill to choose to seek or not seek.

Joan, thank you for your thought- provoking posting. I’d like to share my own personal views, on this as follows:

Firstly, on the one hand, I agree with you: the changes that are needed are already occurring here on Earth. In some cases, I strongly believe that it is already too late for some people to reach the level of vibration that is now needed in order to fully Ascend. I say this in a non-judgemental way.

So, whilst these Universal changes are occurring, I don’t feel that we can just sit back and wait for 2012 – just sit back, wait and to see what happens. This is one sure way to be left behind.

So, whilst it is important that we learn to ‘see the changes and feel the changes’, as you say – it isn’t enough. I would say that we need to ask ourselves: What am I actively doing about my own personal transformation?

Am I actively seeking for my personal Truth – the Truth of what and how the ‘second coming’ is going to happen?

Am I working on my Self, daily…am I consciously working on my own fears and issues?

Am I actively releasing and letting go of anything or anyone that no longer serves your evolutionary path?

Am I sharing the experiences and knowledge I’ve discovered, with other people - in a loving non-judgemental way?
Am I reaching out for help, when I need it?

I could go on, but hopefully you see where I’m coming from. Obviously, feel free to disagree…

For me, to Ascend means ‘to become lighter’ – think of a hot air balloon, releasing the sand bags and soaring higher and higher. To become lighter, we need Illumination. This means llumination of Truth. It means letting go of the density surround us – the recognition of, and understanding of how the ego self works. Controlling the ego.

Evolution of Consciousness and the Ascension process can be difficult and painful, as we accept painful Truths about ourselves and the ‘reality’ of the world we live in. It is an astounding journey – the only journey, in fact, that matters. However, once we make a conscious effort to work on ourselves, and to help other do the same – we have more love and support than we can handle.
Secondly, with regards to crystals: the tools and information that we have been receiving to help our evolutionary path thus far, are obviously changing their consciousness and structure too. There are some manifestations appearing here on Earth for the very first time – exceptionally high vibrating Light and Information, that many of us could not perceive or hold before, as our vibration was too dense.

However, the introduction of these new ‘ascension tools, does not mean that our tried and trusted methods cease to exist, or need to be discarded: if some ‘thing’ is here, in existence at this time, it has been manifested for a purpose, and is therefore playing a part in the perfect balance of the Ascension process. Remember also, that everyone of us is on the spiritual path at a different level of understanding and progress – there needs to be something for everyone. What’s more, it’s worth considering that many more people will be able to ‘channel’ information from the higher realms, to bring much-needed Light and Information, and healing energy, to ourselves and the Earth. So, we cannot think of this as ‘old hat’, or unnecessary. But again, see what feels right for you, personally.

On closing, let me say that these are my own Truths – I don’t expect anyone else to believe them, or readily accept them. What I would do, is urge you to continue your path as a Seeker, and you will begin to learn how to ‘feel’, to ‘see’ and to ‘hear’ with your heart. Make decisions based on what feels right, but learn to recognise the denser, limiting energies of fear.

You are responsible for your self at this time: everyone is awakening at a different rate, and we cannot force someone elses’ development – we can only work on ourselves, and watch how other people transform due to our own Light. Picture a rose bush: As we look at a rose bush, some flowers are in full bloom and receiving the full light of the sun – are they perhaps an inspiration to the other buds, whicih are semi-opened and are beginning to unfold….are they showing, just by ‘being’, how the smaller, tighter buds, which are just beginning to feel those first stirrings, how to unfold and lift their faces to sun? I don’t know. But I do know that these flowers are unique and beautiful, yet they are all part of the same rose bush – in exactly the same way, each being on this planet will unfold in their own time according to their own evolutionary plan. Trust the process, and help the process, but don’t ever judge somebody else’s journey, or the decisions they choose to make.

In one of my earlier comments I made the point that ascension spiritually means the "Evol-ution of Love". The cycle takes us cosmically from the First Alfa to the last Omega ( Genessis-God-dess), and has many millions and thousands of light years of cycles as we of the comsic spirit realm descended as light into physical matter to learn about the duality of physical life and soul evol-ution through unconditional love, through thousands of soul incarnations again back to the Oneness of God-dess.
