Seeing as I have been invited to be a columnist for SpiritGuides, this is as good a time as any to lay my cards on the table. Although my focus has been centred on “The Meadow” novel which I have spent the last three years co-writing, I must stress that I have no expertise in any subject. Having said that, my fascination in almost any topic is immense and this is why I like to discuss matters based around life, not just the way that we recognise it, but what also lies beyond.
If there is anything that I would give emphasis to, it is communication. The interconnectedness in all things will become apparent once we embrace the communicative tools that are at our disposal. As a consequence, it would be almost hypocritical of me if I spoke only of communication as a way and means for others to connect. On the contrary, I welcome the interaction that my words and thoughts can evoke.
This site encourages communication and there are comments boxes to use to voice your opinions. So please indulge me as I express myself using topical and controversial issues that you may or may not agree with. It’s not important whether you support what I say. What matters to me is that you engage yourself and be proud that you can stand up and be counted to help make this world be a better place. So please keep those comments coming.
I notice that there are a few experts here who can do the specialised work, acting as columnists and applying their skills to help enlighten the readers. In my opinion, this brings balance into the equation. Now and again my chosen subjects may intersperse with my colleagues and allow me to learn new things that may not have come my way. So on that note, I hope that the other columnists don’t mind if I make a comment or two on their contributions, should the interest take hold.
Now that I’ve got that out of the way, I would just like to pave the way for my first blog as a columnist for SpiritGuides. In my opinion, you should find this personal and recent experience hilarious, especially for those of you who are animal lovers. So watch out for Rambo the Dog coming shortly. I’m still chuckling away to myself as I reflect on this experience.
