Resting.
It is so still, quite, peaceful,
walking amongst the deceased;
Touching upon their spirits, their energies,
as they rest in their new dwellings, their coffins.
This is not a frightening experience,
just an unusual one.
Leading to,
a questing of my own mortality.
I begin switching lights off
while saying ‘good night’, in my head,
for somehow it makes me feel better.
They can’t hear me, can they?
As I prepare to sadly leave behind the
Dearly departed.

Visitation.
I saw you last night
My Big Brother.
I know you are gone, ‘passed over’
but in my dream you were,
as you always was.
Even in my dream
I told myself
you are not here.
I went over to you,
squeezed your left arm.
It felt ‘ real’
and in ‘real time’.
You stood and smiled at me.
I awoke, relaxed and calm.
Saw Bob beside me,
smiled contently,
went back to sleep.
No problem!
Upon Reflection.
A fascinating experience.
A dream in slow motion,
one of love and reassurance.
I wished it could last forever,
yet, knew that was not possible.
However, I feel privileged to have had such a remarkable dream.
Maybe, I’ll have another one like it,
Someday!
