Represented by the Rod of Asclepius and located between the signs Scorpio and Sagittarius, Ophiuchus is recognized as a zodiacal constellation by the International Astronomical Union since 1930, establishing its influence period between November 30 and December 17.

A controversial birth:

According to Greek mythology, the image drawn by Ophiuchus belongs to Asclepius, a demigod son of Apollo and Coronis.
