What an interesting, inspirational, amazing, fantastic day, it was on Saturday 28th March 2009. The day I attended a Spiritual Workshop run by Medium, Spiritual Counsellor and Reiki Master Gillian Holland. It was themed as ‘Improve your Connection to Spirit, and that I most certainly did!
There were all levels of people in attendance, from Mediums already ‘on platform’ to mere beginners like myself, yet we all were able to connect to the Higher Realms, through the way in which the very beginning of each session was indicated, explained and expressed to us.
The power of Prayer was indeed very empowering as each of us wrote our own opening prayer, our inspired addresses and shared these within our circle, expertly opened and led by Gillian Holland. The intent of prayer was much emphasized and the intent in which we all opened our hearts and minds led us to a clear, calm, understanding of what was to happen; and what indeed did happen throughout the rest of the day.
Our Guides (of that moment) came before us by meditation and prayer, symbols were made visible to us, and our own space and times were shown to us; all generated by Gillian’s expert understanding and leadership techniques.
All of these experiences, wonderful experiences, were shared within our circle. Areas of non-understanding were explained to us by Gillian, as we were left to decide if her interpretation matched our understanding of the situation, and of each other’s information passed onto us. Many questions were asked of our Spirit Family, Friends and Guides. As each question was asked of our connection to Spirit, they were answered.
Starting at the very core of our hearts made it possible to obtain this evidence, and each time we became stuck we were asked to return to our core and the answers came.
We learned to trust in Spirit through this experience, and accept that what was being told to us was what each person needed to hear at that moment in time. Gillian pushed each of us to gain more information every time, guiding us in the direction of which questions to ask, guiding us into continuing when we became unsure, stuck, or were ready to give up.
Speaking for Myself.
I was overcome, yet joyous, by the messages I received.
I was intrigued as to how they came through. Messages were heard and passed on to us. They were also felt either physically, emotionally, or both; they even changed our mannerisms and stance. Descriptions of people, places, names, addresses where all passed on to us and accepted by the receivers; all of this being a clear sign of evidence that Spirit work for us and within us.
I learned to allow messages to flow. Not to worry about what might or might not happen, but just to allow things to ‘come and be’; acknowledging myself as the Channel which I had become.
When one of my messages seemed unclear, I searched my brain to try to work out what was being said; but all that was needed was for the messenger to ask Spirit for more evidence (which always came, as I said before).
Slowly the answer unfolded, in this case in 3 steps. When the light bulb went on in my head, as the receiver, it was the most spectacular light I could ever wish to have seen!
